It's All About You

This week here at Lock 'N' Load, we would like to salute you. Our customers are our most valued asset here at Lock 'N' Load. Without our loyal and dedicated customers we would have nothing.

You have supported us through our successes and our challenges. We are still here because of the support that we receive from our community. Our community means so much to us as we have been involved in as many events and causes as we possibly can. We like to sell and shoot guns, but helping build a stronger and closer community is the ultimate goal.

We appreciate the volunteers who have helped us out with all the projects and events we have held. We also appreciate the loyalty that comes from our repeat customers who also tell their family and friends exactly what we got going on here at our little store. Over the years we have grown and watched the city around us grow as well. We look forward, everyday, to seeing just who or what may come through those doors. With that being said, we would like to announce our customer appreciation day coming up next weekend.

On Saturday April 18, 2015, Lock 'N' Load will be having our annual customer appreciation day. Being that this year is our tenth anniversary I can promise that it will be huge. We are giving away something to every customer who walks through the door and a great trip to one lucky customer.
  • Every customer will receive one free Lock 'N' Load T-shirt
  • Every 50th customer will receive a free 10 punch range pass
  • Drawings will be held every half hour for those who sign up to win apparel items
  • One lucky person will win a free four night, three day trip to Hawaii for you and three guests
I told you that it would be huge. We know just how hard winter can be on us here in Wisconsin. Let's face it, we love our state, but it can be unforgiving sometimes. So we wanted to give some lucky persons a break that is well deserved. Our community has been great to us and we are happy to give back to our customers. Just imagine the sound of the waves pounding the beach. So come on out to Lock 'N' Load next Saturday. If you want an idea of what's in store just click the link below. For the now though, take in the sight of this view.

You Can Help

In honor of the Keep America Beautiful Campaign we would like to ask you for help. We value our community and the bounty that has been provided to us from nature. We are organizing a group clean up effort this next Sunday April 12th. We will be meeting at the store at 8 am and heading out in four separate teams. Team assignment and tasks are listed below.

  • Team Alpha- Your assignment, if you chose to accept, will lead you to the banks of the Eau Claire river. Exercise extreme caution as this task is of upmost importance. You will move swiftly to extract the necessary items for your mission. Be on the lookout for the usual suspects that may clutter our river and dispatch them appropriately.
  • Team Brovo - This assignment is treacherous. You will be responsible for dispatching our enemies in the park. Arm yourselves with the rakes and shovels provided and show no mercy.
  • Team Libra- We have intel that the lake is under attack from all fronts. Be vigilant out there for the terrain is unforgiving, but so are we. Listen closely to your sergeant as tasks may vary.
  • Team Echo- Your task is probably the most vital to our operations. We are dropping you into the belly of the beast. The local schools have been hit hard and are in danger. Beware of heavy debris as this may make visibility difficult. Stay close and watch each other sixes. We are counting on you soldier!
All teams will recon at the Lock 'N' Load for debriefing at 1200 hours (noon). After debriefing we will be dismissed for chow. All team members are expected to eat heartily and have fun. There will be no tolerance for disobedience, fun will be had by your commanders orders. Everyone is welcome. All team members will receive special packages to take home with them. These packages are to be handled with the upmost care to ensure safe delivery. Packages may be opened on Lock 'N' Load grounds, but beware. These packages have been known to cause spontaneous bouts of elation, excitement, and fun. Proceed with caution upon opening.

So come on down to Lock 'N' Load this Sunday April 12th. We can't wait to get started. We don't want our city looking like our range.

Only the brave will dare to Keep America Beautiful. Only with your help will we be ABLE to stem the tide against litter. Also be sure to check out our first You Tube video.

Post with freedom

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend. I want to get serious here for a few minutes. I wanted to inform everyone of a new website name Gun District. Gun District is a social media platform that allows gun enthusiasts to network with other members. By clicking on the video here http://screencast.com/t/dCwOhUvxf  you can get acquainted to the new site. I can't express enough how important it is for us to network.

We face some trying times ahead of us as gun owners. It seems more and  more these days that we are getting pushed back by members of our society that don't understand or just plainly fear guns. I am a long time gun owner and it's how I make my living. There is nothing I can say alone as one voice to be heard by the masses that want nothing more than to shout me down. With many voices, perhaps, we can change some opinions and gain some understanding. We are strong when we are together. Some other social media platforms have taken down pictures or videos of guns. That is why I wanted to introduce everyone to Gun District. So check out the site. Gun District will not take down your posts of guns. You will find no gun free zones there that's for sure. Remember to keep your powder dry and good guys with guns only make us safer.

Becky's Breeds gets Locked 'N' Loaded

I am honored to announced that here, this week, we will be working in tandem with Becky's Breeds to train dogs. No, Lock 'N' Load has not gone to the dogs. We will for four hours next Saturday though. We will be training dogs to the sound of live fire. We will be utilizing the outdoor range to accomplish this. The outdoor range will be closed during this time. The public is welcome to watch and give some love to these very special dogs. Becky's Breeds is a local dog rescue that needs our help and we are more than happy to help. Here at Lock 'N' Load we value our community and the relationships built through our continued effort. These dogs need forever homes. The best way to get them into homes is by training them to be as versatile as they can be. Next Saturday we will have the best candidates from their shelter who have been pre-selected as possible candidates for hunting, police, and search dogs. The way that we are helping is introducing these dogs to live fire. We will start off with the smallest caliber and moving up to out highest .50 caliber rounds. You can be sure that there will be lots of excitement from the dogs. This will be a fun event that is free to the public. In exchange of having the range closed we will be giving free dog training advice from our staff and free booklets. So come on out to support our community partners and give some dogs a little love and attention. The dogs will be available for your affection after the training. Check out the video below to get an idea of what were aiming for.

Don't sacrifce accuarcy for concealment

Who says that anyone has to know that you are carrying a concealed weapon. The point of carrying a concealed weapon is just that, you don't want anyone to know that you are carrying a concealed weapon. Accuracy is always a concern for anyone when they use a pistol. There is no point in trying to deny that you will lose accuracy when shooting with a pistol versus a rifle. A rifle gives you the ability to use a iron sights, scopes, lasers, and reticules to light your target up. Pistols with laser sights are so expensive and bulky when added to a handgun, that is until now. Smith and Wesson has now come out with the new M & P Shield with a new Crimson Trace laser sight for 2015. This new product we are able to offer to you for less than $600 which is less than other products in previous years. Technology is getting declining in price all the time and we couldn't be happier to be passing the savings on to you. Not only will this gun be easy to conceal but it will leave you with the peace of mind of hitting your target. Here at Lock 'N' Load we will always provide the newest technology at the lowest possible price. Come in and check out the new Smith and Wesson M & P Shield with the Crimson Trace laser today. However, if you can't wait to see it first hand check out the video link from Guns and Ammo Magazine here. http://bcove.me/5y9udxlr
